Life comes first, safety and development

In order to enhance the safety awareness of employees and improve the emergency response capabilities of accidents, our company held the 2018 annual emergency comprehensive plan drill on June 22.

 

The first thing to be carried out is an emergency evacuation drill. The simulation scenario is that the fire operator caused a “large fire" due to improper operation. After receiving the accident report, the commander-in-chief, General Manager Liu Guozhi, immediately organized the evacuation of personnel from relevant departments. The Municipal Fire brigade demonstrated at the simulated fire scene how to correctly carry out the essentials of emergency rescue in fire accidents during fire rescue, and finally successfully controlled the “fire situation” with the cooperation of the company's emergency rescue team.Next, special exercises for electric shock and mechanical injuries were carried out. The medical staff of the Development Zone Hospital gave a theoretical explanation of the emergency response to personal injury accidents, and the company's medical ambulance team carried out on-site rescue of the simulated injured.With the end of the drill on the molten iron turnover wear-through accident, General Manager Liu Guozhi, the commander-in-chief, summarized the entire drill, affirmed the advantages of this drill, and pointed out the shortcomings of our specific problems. The drill is over.

 

This exercise is in the true sense of combining the emergency plan from the theoretical knowledge in the book to the actual situation.Let employees learn how to correctly use fire-fighting equipment for early rescue in the event of a fire accident, how to take correct first aid measures in the event of a personal injury accident in order to effectively treat the injured, etc. The emergency knowledge that these employees are most concerned about will be the next work goal of the Safety Supervision Section.

 

“Life first, safe development” is the theme of the 2018 Production Safety Month. Before the comprehensive emergency drill, the Safety Supervision Section organized six group meetings of relevant personnel of the comprehensive emergency drill, and sorted out the problems that occurred after each drill into the minutes of the meeting of the day and sent them to the relevant personnel.Although the weather was hot during the on-site simulation exercise, for the same goal, the rescue actions were standardized through repeated exercises. This persistent spirit provided a guarantee for the smooth progress of the exercise that day.The same is true of the safety work implemented into us. The safety operating procedures and operating instructions are all determined through multiple group meetings and discussions. Only through continuous training of employees and meticulous implementation of standards can the safety issues on the production site be controlled and safe production can be truly achieved with zero accidents.
